(John Paul II, 23 X 2001)
The Holy Father’s thoughts in establishing the Foundation was to encourage a group of people who would research and disseminate the heritage of Christian culture and of Church doctrine in the world. Conferences and symposia serve to fulfil this purpose.
The John Paul II Foundation has been organizing symposia for scholars in Rome and Lublin. The Research Division continues promoting these types of events.
In collaboration with the Pontifical Faculty of Theology Saint Bonaventure, the Research Division organized its first International Symposium titled: Christ-Church-Man. Vatican II in the pontificate of John Paul II. It took place in Rome, October 28-30 2008.
The information with regard to symposia organized by the Center can be found on the website: www.jp2symposium.org
